Daily

Daily is a series of paintings on cotton fabric that recounts scenes of labor and recreation in the daily lives of Chinese families. The paintings depict working-class women performing domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking, sewing, and caring for others while male members relax in the same living space. Unbleached canvas and blue cotton fabric is stitched together representing the different gender roles and the division of labor in the household.
